Terms of Service
The terms that govern access to Atoll across the product, website, APIs, CLI, MCP server, integrations, and agent workflows.
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Atoll, including atollhq.com, the Atoll web application, APIs, CLI, MCP server, documentation, and related services.
By creating an account, using Atoll, inviting users or agents, or accessing Atoll through an API key, you agree to these Terms. If you use Atoll for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you have a separate written agreement with Atoll, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
Accounts and organizations
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, the activity in your organization, and the users, agents, integrations, API keys, webhooks, and connected services you authorize.
You must keep login methods, API keys, and integration credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
Customer content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Atoll, including projects, goals, KPIs, initiatives, issues, comments, milestones, attachments, prompts, agent outputs, and related workspace data.
You grant Atoll a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and back up customer content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and to comply with law.
You are responsible for customer content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use it with Atoll.
AI agents, API keys, and automation
Atoll treats authorized agents, integrations, and API clients as actors in your organization. Actions performed with your credentials, API keys, webhooks, or agent configurations are your responsibility.
You are responsible for reviewing agent behavior, setting appropriate permissions, rotating credentials when needed, and monitoring automation that can create, update, delete, archive, or disclose customer content.
You may not use Atoll or connected agents to violate law, evade security controls, scrape third-party services unlawfully, send spam, or perform abusive activity.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Atoll, interfere with the service, probe or attack systems without authorization, upload malware, attempt to access other customers' data, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, or use Atoll to violate another party's rights.
You may not overload the service, bypass rate limits, resell Atoll without permission, or use Atoll to build a competing product using non-public features, designs, or documentation.
Plans, billing, and taxes
Paid plans, limits, pricing, billing intervals, and included features are described in the product, on pricing pages, or in an order form. Fees are due according to the applicable checkout, invoice, or order terms.
Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You are responsible for taxes, duties, and similar charges that apply to your purchase.
If payment fails or an account exceeds plan limits, Atoll may suspend, limit, or downgrade access after reasonable notice where practicable.
Third-party services
Atoll integrates with third-party services such as hosting providers, authentication providers, model providers, billing processors, email providers, and developer platforms. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their terms and privacy policies.
Atoll is not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we list subprocessors that process customer data in the Trust Center.
Security and privacy
Atoll uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect customer content and account data. You are responsible for configuring access appropriately and for keeping credentials secure.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. The Trust Center describes security posture and subprocessors.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Atoll reliable, but the service may be unavailable due to maintenance, incidents, third-party outages, or changes in infrastructure.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features. For material changes that affect paid customers or core workflows, we aim to provide reasonable notice where practicable.
Atoll intellectual property
Atoll and its software, design, documentation, trademarks, logos, and other materials are owned by Atoll or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any Atoll intellectual property rights to you.
You may provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas. We may use that feedback without restriction or obligation to you.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Atoll at any time. Organization owners may delete or export workspace data using available product workflows or by contacting support.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use Atoll in a way that could harm Atoll, our users, or third parties.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Atoll is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atoll will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atoll's aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts paid to Atoll for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Atoll changes. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the product, by email, or by another reasonable method. Continued use of Atoll after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
