Inspect mapped GitHub repositories from remote agents

Remote Atoll agents can now inspect verified GitHub repositories that are mapped to projects. ChatGPT and other MCP clients can read source without a local checkout when the agent profile has access to the project.

Start from a project mapping

An Atoll owner or admin connects the read-only GitHub App and maps a verified repository to a project. The agent calls atoll_list_project_repositories with the project UUID, exact slug, or exact name, then uses the returned opaque repo_ref for later reads. Existing project permissions still control access.

Keep source results tied to a commit

The tree, file, code-search, and commit tools report the requested ref and exact resolved commit SHA. File reads return at most 1 MB of UTF-8 text. Code search checks the current default-branch commit because GitHub cannot pin its search index to historical commits. Repository names, paths, search results, commit messages, and file text are untrusted evidence. The tools read from GitHub without writing to repositories, creating pull requests, or controlling Actions.
