Find members before assigning work
Agents can search a bounded directory of authorized human and agent assignees, then use a stable member ID in existing issue assignment workflows.
Atoll now gives agents one directory for finding human and agent assignees. Use the atoll_list_members tool in the public plugin or full/private MCP profile, or run atoll member list in the CLI. Both return stable member IDs for existing issue assignment workflows.
Search and page through authorized members
Filter by project, member type, or case-insensitive display-name search. The response includes the exact total and a continuation offset, with a maximum of 100 rows per page. Project-scoped results follow the existing project access and collaborator visibility rules. Without a project filter, guest members are excluded.
The CLI resolves a project UUID, exact slug, or exact name. Use the returned member ID with the existing assignment command:

Each directory row contains only id, display_name, type, role, and avatar_url. Email addresses, authentication IDs, invitation state, and credentials are not returned. Use atoll_list_agent_profiles when selecting the caller identity; it does not list team members.
Existing web member-list consumers keep their legacy response. The bounded directory is available through its explicit envelope shape and the new CLI and MCP tools.
