Set the earliest date for a runner to start a task
Defer new runner work with an independent calendar date in your workspace time zone.
Set Earliest agent start when a task must wait for a calendar date. The task stays visible for planning and assignment. Start dates and due dates keep their existing meaning.
Use one workspace calendar
The date uses the workspace time zone shown beside the control. Owners and admins can set an IANA time zone in Settings → General. Existing workspaces start with UTC. Changing the zone changes future eligibility.
Use due date copies the current deadline once. Later deadline edits do not change the saved earliest start. A date later than the due date shows a warning; clear the field to remove the restriction.
Preserve ongoing work
New ordinary runner claims wait until the date. Existing leases, exact replay, attention recovery, human work and current-work inspection continue. Normal access, dependency and workflow checks still apply when the date arrives. Recurring occurrences do not inherit a stale date.
REST, CLI and both MCP profiles accept the optional date. Typed workspace calendar tools read the zone and let authorized owners and admins change it. The admission gate applies to Atoll runner leases; it does not constrain external harnesses that never claim those leases or direct execution recordkeeping.
