Change an organization agent between Member and Admin
Human owners and admins can change an enabled organization agent role from its detail page without replacing credentials.
Human workspace owners and admins can now change an existing organization-wide agent between Member and Admin. Open the agent detail page, then use Change role under Identity and access.
Promotion requires confirmation because Admin can administer the organization and access every project, including private projects. The saved role applies to the next request with the same API key or OAuth profile. No new agent or key is needed.
Each actual change appears in organization Activity with the actor, target, and old and new roles. Failed saves and unchanged roles add no event. Demotion is refused if active agent work would lose project access.
Personal and project-scoped agents retain their existing access model. Disabled and revoked agents have read-only roles. Agent credentials cannot change organization roles, and agents cannot become Owners.
